As a Cyber Operations Exercise Planner on our team, you are the backbone of our strategic initiatives and will be responsible for developing technology critical to the success of our projects as well as national security.

The Cyber Operations Exercise Planner provides direct support to meet CCMD strategic and operational level objectives as part of the Cyber Operations- Integrated planning Element (CO – IPE). Coordinates with JFHQ-C (AFCYBER), JFHQ-DoDIN and other CYBERCOM Components as required. Supports offensive and defensive cyber operations exercise planning, development, coordination, facilitation, execution, assessment, and training.  Provides expertise, technical assistance and data, information management for analysis, coordination, planning, execution, and after-action reporting. Attends planning conferences to establish participation execution events, timelines and communication requirements. Participate in and directly support exercise execution by developing scenario events and acting as white cell/controller participants. Coordinates in crafting scenarios/events/vignettes and determine the level of support requirements for OCO activities within each exercise, experiment or demonstration.

Cyber Operations Exercise Planner Required Experience & Skills:

• TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph


• Masters Degree with 7+ years relevant intelligence experience (17S AFS) OR BS/BA with 10 years’ experience OR AS with 16 years’ experience


• Experience working with Cyber Mission Forces


• Experience with Planning and Conducting Offensive Cyber Operations 


• Experience with Combatant Command Structure, Authorities, and Responsibilities


• Ability to secure additional clearances (SAP)
