DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Engage and improve the whole lifecycle of services - from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement. Scale through automation and evolve systems by pushing change that improves reliability and velocity. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software/tooling solutions. Design and implement automated deployment strategies that scale with the business. Research, design and apply advanced security techniques. Responsible for individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables. Collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals. Analyze vulnerabilities, threats, designs, procedures and architectural design, producing reports and sharing intelligence . Proactively and strategically partners with all lines of business and functions to enable them to design, adopt and integrate appropriate security controls.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in Software Development, or related experience OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in Software Development, or related experience.

Skills required: Software design and development experience. Demonstrated knowledge in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines. Demonstrated knowledge of architecture, design, application development, deployment, security and troubleshooting, in one or more cloud environment. Demonstrated knowledge in modern programming languages including C#, C++, Java and Python. Experience developing and managing APIs and Microservices. Experience with automation tools including Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, and Puppet. Experience working with Agile methodology. Demonstrated knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery. Demonstrated knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices for programming/scripting in C/C++, Java, Javascript, Python, Bash, Shell or Ruby. Experience working through the full product cycle from initial design to final product.
