Function: Manufacturing Engineering
Title: Part-Time Student-Manufacturing Engineering-Waterloo IA- 70229

The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company's regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule.

Your Responsibilities


  • Maintain and evolve existing tools and processes.
  • Assists team in identifying issues and proposing resolutions.
  • Gather, review, and analyze information.
  • Supports multiple departments in their daily functions.
  • Produces a variety of correspondence and reports in support of department processes.
  • Learns and applies company engineering policies and practices; learns company products.

What Skills You Need


  • Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing engineering or Information Systems; others may apply
  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university (Hawkeye, UNI, Wartburg, etc)
  • If currently attending a community college must plan to pursue a 4-year degree
  • Graduation date of May 2023 or later
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
  • Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
  • 16-20 hours/week during the academic year
  • 35-40 hours/week during the summer semester

  • Understanding of various functions within respective business
  • Good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Working knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau, Excel or other data management/visual tools
