Akima has an immediate opening for a Technical Intel Sourcer with a
passion for making a difference and a strong desire to grow with us. This
position is ideally suited for a self-motivated, detail-oriented person who is
very passionate about making a difference.

Responsibilities:



  • Solid sourcing experience in the defense contracting
    arena


  • Develop strong relationships and partner with the
    recruiting manager.

  • Ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly
    understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.

  • Ensure timeliness of recruitment process.

  • Will take positive steps to support and promote the
    recruitment, retention and development programs for Native Alaskan
    shareholders.

Minimum Qualifications: 


  • 3-5 years sourcing for IT/Intel personnel.

  • US Citizenship is a must have.

  • Experience sourcing/recruiting for cleared technical candidates up to TS/SCI with Polygraphs.

  • Sound knowledge of employment laws; EEO, FLSA, and OFCCP.

  • Experience using a variety of online recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems (Taleo experience is a plus)

Desired Skills:  


  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or any related field is highly desirable.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and team based project experience.

  • Decisive ability to shift priorities and function effectively in a dynamic fast paced work culture.

  • Strong understanding of the recruiting aspects involved in the Government proposal environment.

  • Clear understanding of the end to end recruitment life-cycle processes.

  • Experience with high volume sourcing

  • Strong work ethic and confidentiality is a must

  • Experience sourcing/recruiting for Federal Law Agency customers is highly desired.

  • AIRS certifications are highly desired

  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance is essence.
