The Team

We are seeking an Analyst to join American Tower’s Corporate Development, Mergers & Acquisition (“M&A”), and Property Management team.  The team fuels revenue and growth through analyses of value additive transactions and the acquisition of assets. Day to day you will help define and coordinate best in class due diligence and integration methodologies and liaise with cross-functional teams to optimize and implement processes for due diligence and integration. You will also support key functional groups in identifying integration priorities, developing an integration strategy, and driving day-one readiness.

What You Can Offer Us

  • Evaluate new partnership opportunities for commercial feasibility, relevance and scalability.

  • Oversee and coordinate M&A project management processes involved in the total lifecycle of acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures including due diligence, financial planning, scoping, planning, closing, and integration.

  • Communicate plans involving key stakeholders and impacted departments.  Keep appropriate parties informed of each project's progress and problems.

  • Provide timely and accurate research by partnering with internal finance team to model, analyze and assess strategic attractiveness in support of new business opportunities.

  • Monitor necessary metrics to objectively evaluate performance against expectations.

  • Utilize project management methodologies, including supporting tools and processes, to ensure all diligence is complete and understood; ensure each asset is fully integrated into the portfolio.

  • Organize and coordinate meetings and discussions with internal and external business and technical resources, including brokers, sellers, and due diligence professionals.

  • Create clear presentations for senior leaders to communicate your results and drive their informed decisions.

  • Develop and maintain business partnerships with business leads in the Compliance, Finance, Legal, Sales, Engineering, and Operations departments to ensure collaboration with the Senior Manager of Mergers & Acquisitions on business requirements and project plans that allow for accurate assessment of potential acquisitions.

  • Other duties as assigned.
