The Customer Success Engineers (CSEs) serves as the main point-of-contact for our strategic clients and its mission is to drive product adoption, value realization and to increase client's loyalty. This is achieved through intensive hands-on work with the client on its infrastructure stack and architecture, workload migration to Spot, building work plans, providing client's teams with enablement for Spot, QBRs and being a point of escalation for unique technical inquiries.
Responsibilities
Increase product adoption by working hands-on with the client to migrate workloads to run via the Spot platform and drive their savings up accordingly and increase the book of business.
Act as a subject matter expert for infrastructure technical questions, best practice, and advising C-level and other senior decision makers on optimizing their infrastructure footprint.
Work from the client and inside Spot organization to promote client's interests such as feature requests, previews etc.
Proactively manage the client's lifecycle, from onboarding through extensive growth and renewal.
Become a strategic partner to our clients and create relationships and trust as the client's infrastructure is always mission-critical.
Identify new growth opportunities (upsells/cross sell) and build a plan accordingly along the Account Manager.
Demo new products and features, and share product roadmaps.
Hold Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with C-level executives and other decision makers.
Requirements
Minimum 5-7 years' experience working in external client-facing technical roles (e.g., Customer Success, Tech-Support, Pre-sales, Consulting)
Experience working with cloud-compute platforms (IaaS, PaaS)
Experience working at a fast-paced global software company
Outstanding communication and customer relationship skills
Proven record of working directly with clients and driving change
Proven track record of learning of new technologies
Familiarity with container orchestration platform (such as Kubernetes & Amazon ECS)
Bachelor's degree in computer-science or related field or relevant work experience
A Plus:
Familiarity with CI/CD tools, e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab, Chef, Ansible
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-a-code tools (such as Terraform, CloudFormation)
