We are currently searching for a skilled professional to join a well-known client's team as a Clinical Research Nurse in Portland, Oregon. The Clinical Research Nurse role will ensure research integrity and compliance with institutional policies, state and federal regulations, and Guidelines to Good Clinical Practice. Their work will have a direct impact on the organization and the larger clinical industry, making this an amazing career opportunity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and coordinate research orders
Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regulatory documentation
Assess protocol feasibility
Assist with pre-study budgets and planning
Collaborate with clinical team(s) on the management of research/study patients enrolled onto various studies
Serve as the clinical resource for study coordinators and clinical staff
Evaluate the educational need of patients and provide appropriate education for the patients/families related to the clinical trial process and treatment plan
Utilize nursing expertise to guide patient management
Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3 years of clinically-related experience required
Demonstrated experience with cell therapy or kidney transplant preferred
Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and organizational skills required
Proficient with computers and Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent customer service skills both on the phone and in person
Transplant clinical care, clinical trials, and/or research experience preferred
Knowledge of EPIC and other research platforms and databases
Inpatient clinical experience desired
EDUCATION
Minimum of Master's Degree in relevant field and 3 years of relevant experience required or
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree with major courses in field of research (or RN or allied health professional) and 5 years of relevant experience
Active Oregon RN License required
MSN preferred
SOCRA or ACRP certified preferred
OCN certified desired
Active Basic Life Support Certification preferred
