Position Overview

We have an excellent part-time paid internship opportunitiy available for a current college student who is majoring in Finance, Business, or a related field of study. 

This is a temporary position working 24 -30 hours per week. This is an hourly paid position at $15 per hour for undergrad and $16 per hour for grad students.

Training will be provided by OCHIN.

 Essential Duties


  • Assist in tracking internal asset volumes to identify when purchases do, and do not, need to be made.

  • Track monthly purchases and provide reporting.

  • Assist in preparation of supporting documentation for annual budget process.

  • Assist in inventory maintenance as purchases are incurred or assets are relieved in connection with Finance staff.

  • Review the accuracy of the inventory on a quarterly basis to ensure company assets are recorded and maintained accurately both physically and as recorded.

  • Update and maintain inventory of software, hardware, and other assets. Maintain additional records as required.

  • Facilitating requests for certificates of insurance

  • Small project vendor sourcing.

  • Minor vendor management capacity.

  • Contract management and document maintenance.

  • Assist in maintaining an inventory of all company owned assets: hardware, software, office equipment, furniture, and partner with related Finance staff.

  • Adheres to purchasing procedures and procurement policies.

  • Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered.

  • Assist in Credit Card Reconciliation.

  • Office and equipment, supply, and maintenance coordination.

  • Other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications


  • Must be currently enrolled as a student in an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s program

  • Highly Skilled in Excel

  • Knowledge of, or the ability to quickly grasp, new technology systems (MS Products, Visio, SalesForce, MAS 500).

  • Adequate organizational, attention to detail, and time management skills.

  • Willingness to learn the ability of maintaining confidential and proprietary information; setting professional boundaries as needed.

  • Ability to be self-directed and motivated.

  • Adequate problem solving, collaboration, and customer service skills.

  • Ability to grasp issues and prioritize work.

  • Ability to develop professional relationships with vendors, employees, and management.

  • Intermediate written and verbal skills.

  • Ability to work independently, think analytically and make sound judgments

  • A great attitude and willingness to learn

  • Demonstrated reliability
