$17per hour to start plus $2 shift diff for 2nd shift & $1000 bonus ($500 after 90 days and $500 after 1 year of employment)
What You Will Do
Perform duties to assist with the loading/unloading flatbed trailers, store/retrieve oversized loads as directed. Comply with instructions and prescribed routines, methods or procedures and involving the making of minor decisions.
Required Skills:
Safely operate and maintain all available material handling equipment (electric/gas/propane sit down forklift and Combilift forklift) in adherence with training procedures and policies.
Must load and unload flatbed trailers and conveyor systems while working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Collect and deliver a wide variety of oversized materials, adhering to good safety practices in carrying out duties.
Maintain and stack finished goods in storage areas in preparation of loading outbound shipments on trailers.
Maintain cleanliness of grounds, emptying dumpsters, unload foam supply trailers, picking up refuse, and removal of snow or ice.
Perform preventive and operating maintenance such as checking fluid levels, greasing and cleaning equipment.
Serves as a backup to tie down associate working on trucks at a height of 15 feet. Assisting with any operation within the department as required or directed; maintain flow of work or respond to emergency conditions.
Attend and participate in a variety of meetings and task force groups to integrate activities, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements and policies.
Previous similar experience of working in a lumber yard or rail car industry is a plus.
Previous forklift experience working with oversized loads.

2+ years operation of forklift in an oversized load outside yard.
2+ years operation of a sit-down COMBI LIFT forklift with a capacity of 9000 lbs.
Able to lift 50 lbs and work in all-weather outdoor environment.
Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented Individual
Able to work flexible hours 10-12 hour shifts.
Able to pass drug screen and background check
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to work overtime hours
