Aviation Construction Manager Student Co-Op

We are seeking an Aviation Construction Manager Student Interns in multiple locations (Denver, CO.; Salt Lake City, UT; St. George, UT; Kansas City, MO; Jefferson City, MO) for the Summer Semester (May - August).

The Construction Manager Student Intern will provide support to Senior Staff allowing them the opportunity to gain real-world experience in their related field of study. Interns will gain invaluable experience applying knowledge and skills learned through education in a business/on-site environment.

Responsibilities:

• Working as part of the integrated Aviation Construction Management team


• Performing assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out project related tasks


• May use computer-assisted engineering software and equipment to perform project related tasks


• Assisting in the coordination of projects from conception through final plan preparations


• Performing limited data collection and analysis


• Responsible for carrying out day-to-day administrative and field work as directed

Requirements:

• Must be enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university, with at least sophomore status


• Must be studying Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field, with an interest in Airfield Design and Airport Planning


• Must have a general understanding and working knowledge of AutoCAD


• Understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Ability to function well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment


• Exceptional multitasking and time management skills


• Field work will be required


• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment

Typical starting salary for this position is $18/hr and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
