We are looking for a talented Plant Supply Chain Director to join our Rocky Mount team specializing in supply chain leadership for our Engine Business Unit in Whitakers, NC.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Direct the supply chain strategy for Rocky Mount Engine Plant (RMEP). Ensure supply chain processes are consistent, create best practices and increase the speed, dependability and efficiency in our supply chains.


• Design, develop, and implement cross business unit, enterprise planning, materials, production, inventory and logistics strategies for the supply chains.


• Partner with internal and external functional stakeholders to maintain strategic and critical supplier relationships. Address supply chain failures, understand suppliers needs and their capacity.


• Mentor, coach and develop the RMEP team for success. Foster open communication and critical problem-solving skills.

• Collaborate and build partnerships, working cross functionally and collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives


• Manage complexity by making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems


• Experience working with Oracle EBS and the ability to learn Cummins systems

Education, Licenses, Certifications

• B.S or B.A in applicable field, MBA preferred
