Job Description:

General Description: Responsible for the execution and coordination of all marketing and administrative procedures necessary for renting apartments. Assists in planning marketing strategy and implements the strategy.

Duties:
• Answers all inquiries regarding occupancy and facilities, makes appointments for tours, explains the services and programs including the assisted living environment. Establishes a schedule for and follows up with all prospects.
• Develops and implements an annual marketing and sales plan.
• Sets and meets monthly and weekly sales productivity goals in relation to callbacks, outreach, and deposits.
• Coordinates and communicates with all team members regarding their role in sales and occupancy.
• Collects data and prepares an accurate and timely weekly marketing report.
• Maintains a current apartment inventory file.
• Maintains the software program for tracking all inquiries.
• Maintains an inventory of sales/marketing supplies, reordering as necessary. Keeps literature up to date.
• Responsible for maintaining a “wait list” for apartments.
• Coordinates all move-ins.
• Assures apartments, including the model, are ready to show for tours at all times.
• Maintains a file of all advertising and keeps abreast of current advertising. Takes calls pertaining to advertising. Works with graphic designers to create ads.
• Maintains mailing lists. Develops and distributes direct mail pieces, flyers, and other promotional information.
• Establishes and maintains a public relations program between the outside community and Pasadena Highlands.
• Coordinates with resident committees such as the welcoming committee.
• Coordinates marketing outreach programs and events such as “Advantage Club” programs, health fairs, and other special events.
• Obtains speaking engagements with clubs, organizations by personal contact, telephone contact, and mailings to educate the community regarding Pasadena Highlands.
• Participates in community activities to obtain visibility for Pasadena Highlands.
• Reports significant incidents to the Executive Director.
• Follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Performs all duties in a safe manner. Participates in the safety program.
• Performs other duties as may be required.

Ability and Experience requirements:
• Knowledgeable in the concept of retirement living and regulations relative to the acceptance of residents for admission.
• Ability to organize work, use initiative, make decisions, and delegate work.
• Possess good communication and persuasion skills in dealing with the public.
• Must be able to relate well with people and be pleasant, cheerful, courteous, and tactful at all times and to develop an attitude of caring, sincerity, enthusiasm, and patience with prospective residents and their families.
• Ability to cooperate with co-workers, residents, and the public.
• Willingness to work extra hours for move in activity, holidays and special functions.

Education Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
