UPS is seeking an experienced and dynamic Global Sales Training Director to set the short and long-term Global Sales Training program. The Global Sales Training (GST) Director manages and directs worldwide training programs that supports field sales (e.g., Strategic Accounts, Middle Market, etc.), Inside Sales, and Customer Solutions learning needs.
The Global Sales Training Director collaborates with senior sales leadership (e.g., Vice President of Global Revenue Operations, BD Department Heads, Solutions Department Heads, etc.) to understand and prioritize learning needs and to determine learning solutions. This position collaborates with external vendors (e.g., training development, design, content development, technology, etc.) and subject matter experts (SMEs) (e.g., Marketing, Pricing, Revenue Management, Brand, Communications, Public Relations, etc.) to close skills, knowledge, technical, and performance gaps. The Global Sales Training Director manages Global Sales Training activities and budgets. He/She directs and prioritizes training programs to ensure timeliness, effectiveness, and cost efficiency. This position manages managers and supervisors.
