JOB SUMMARY: The Crisis Response (CR) Intelligence Analyst, assigned to a specific client, is responsible for monitoring natural disasters, violent incidents, and other human-induced crises around the globe. The Analyst will triage global incidents by collecting information, analyzing, and assessing the incident based on Standard Operating Procedures, and operating the Crisis Response product. The CR product allows users to mark themselves safe in a disaster, request help, offer assistance, and make donations. The Analyst will be required to creatively operate in uncharted areas of operations, conduct damage assessments, and perform other duties assigned, as needed. This position is part of a team that operates 247365 on a shift schedule.

The Essential Functions Include:


  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.

  2. Monitor open source platforms and analyze global events including its impact to assets.

  3. Monitor for threats against user's open source tools.

  4. Conduct damage assessments on natural and human-made disasters.

  5. Send communication to cross-functional partners and complete safety check activations.

  6. Create operational briefs for leadership, as requested.

  7. Develop forecast reports on global threats, as requested.

  8. Investigate potential malicious activity or miscommunication on crisis response user pages;

    1. Initiate appropriate actions, as necessary.


  9. All other duties, as assigned.

Minimum Hiring Standards

Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.


  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

  • Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process including drug testing and background investigation.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., email, cell phone).

  • Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).

  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States.

  • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.

Education/Experience

Master's degree in Disaster Response/Emergency Management, Geography, Political Science, International Relations or other related studies, preferably accompanied by specific regional expertise (travel, education, language skills) with two or more years of experience within corporate security or emergency response in a fast-paced environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company will be considered.

  • Customer service experience within a fast-paced environment.

  • Open source research experience.

  • Strong statistical and geospatial analysis experience.

  • Background in disaster response experience such as with the Red Cross, FEMA, humanitarian aid, preferred.

  • Travel, educational, and language experience abroad, preferred.

  • Critical thinking and problem resolution skills.

  • Knowledge of viewing graphic images/videos.

  • Effective time management skills.

  • Able to write clear and concise reports.

  • Serve as an effective team player.

  • Able to remain calm and professional within a fast-paced/high-stress situation.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment under multiple deadlines and competing priorities.

  • Able to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision.

  • Geospatial Analysis (e.g. ArcGIS Pro, QGIS) desired but not required.

  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office, Excel, SPSS, R, Python or other data analysis software.

  • Position requires 24/7 operations including shift work (day, swing and grave with weekend coverage).
