The Sales Representative duties include but are not limited to:

Customer Relationship

 Identify and contact prospective customers

 Build and maintain a business relationship through customer service practices

 Orient customers of new products, pricing and available trainings

 Follow-up with customers to identify future needs

 Serve as a liaison between Corporate Departments and IDI’s Customers

Sales Management

 Place product orders

 Follow up with sales leads

 Request special pricing from Corporate

 Provide correct pricing to customers

 Provide complete customer profile to Credit Department for proper customer set up

 Complete Weekly Log of Sales Activities and turn them in on a weekly basis

 Forecast customer’s needs for products

 Maintain a good sales record for the branch and the region

Other Duties

 Submit complete and correct expense reports on a weekly basis

 Attend all required company meetings as requested by Supervisor

 If assigned, ensure proper maintenance of company vehicle

 Inform HR Department of any accidents in the warehouse or in any of the vehicles

Experience

Required

• 2 - 20 years: Sales experience

Preferred

• 2 - 5 years: Building Materials
