Supervise the day to day operations of assigned department. Ensure department has appropriate resources and staffing to provide the best possible patient care. Participate in strategic planning and improvement processes for area of responsibility.
Job Requirements
Education
Associate's degree in Radiology/Medical Imaging from an accredited school required.
Advanced degree in a related field preferred.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of radiology or medical imaging experience required.
Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
License/Certifications
Certification by appropriate Radiology/Medical Imaging body through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or
Certification for area of responsibility (e.g., CT, MRI, Mammography, etc.)
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Skill using computers and office equipment.
Skill organizing and prioritizing work.
Skill with verbal and written communication.
Skill using Microsoft Office and other clinical applications.
Skill presenting information to a variety of audiences.
Knowledge of Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization requirements required.

Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and professional standards required.
