Job Description:

We are looking for candidates with exceptional interpersonal skills for the position of Employee Relations Specialist. Employee Relations Specialists are responsible for managing the company's relationship with employees, collecting and analyzing employee data, updating employee files, conducting exit interviews, among other duties.

In an ongoing capacity, Employee Relations Specialists acts as a liaison between our corporate office and employees, overseeing employee relations. This involves receiving and effectively handling employee complaints, escalating these complaints to the level of disciplinary or legal action when necessary, updating employees with any changes in company policy, advising managers on treatment of staff and company policies, responds to employee violations of policy and generally helps to resolve conflict in the workplace.

Responsibilities


  • Resolving employee relation issues by counseling the employees and management team.

  • Examining the source of problems between employees.

  • Counsels employees regarding work, family, or personal problems.

  • Maintaining and creating a back up of all data related to employees.

  • Adhering to regulatory standards.

  • Managing employee complaints.

  • Ensure employee handbook reflects current policy.

  • Investigate sexual harassment and other complaints of non-acceptable actions and behaviors.

  • Conduct other investigations as directed by Human Resources.

  • Conduct exit interviews for terminated employees.

  • Provide feedback to HR and departmental manager regarding trends revealed in exit interviews.

  • Provide feedback to Company Recruiters regarding competency level of terminated employees.

  • Prepare written materials for documentation and conveying information.

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment law.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Good problem-solving ability.
