Job Duties:

Perform a detailed review and analysis of various types of valuation products provided by Chase third party vendors to determine credibility.

These products include interior and exterior appraisals and BPO's.

Complete a credibility assessment of each product based on a detailed review of the product itself as well as review of third party data and photographs of the subject and comparable properties.

Determine if the product used appropriate comparable sales factoring in proximity, living area, land area, condition, externalities, amenities and other relevant factors.

Determine if adjustments were appropriate based on differences between the subject property and the comparable properties.

Determine if the provider used appropriate techniques in completing their report, including following USPAP guidelines for appraisals.

Document the credibility assessment in a clear and concise manner to substantiate that the product is credible, or conversely submit a dispute to the provider as to why the product is not credible

Review dispute responses from providers and their resulting updated product to again assess credibility.

Discern when an escalation is needed to management or subject matter expert to resolve more complex assignments and/or disputes.

Efficiently and effectively work and navigate multiple systems on multiple monitors to complete credibility assessments and disputes within established timeframes and in conformance with Chase policy, regulatory and investor requirements.

Meet daily, weekly and monthly production standards.

Exercise a high standard of care in completing work to meet department quality standards.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent is required - college degree in a business/analytical field is preferred

Minimum 5 years' experience working with and understanding real estate valuations (5 years for Level lll; 1 - 3 years for level ll)

Strong analytical and math skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Well versed working with computers and multiple systems/monitors
