As a Zone Pricing Analyst you will partner with the field sales organization to improve margin dollar capture. Specific areas of focus are the creation of customer specific pricing strategies, identification of customer margin opportunities, deal pricing support and performance management reporting. The trade business includes both the store network as well a network of independent dealers and retailers.

Key Responsibilities :

• Partner with the selling organization to set customer specific pricing strategies and determine optimal pricing on new deals
• Identify margin improvement opportunities by sales rep and by market with existing customers
• Coordinate with sales reps to convert opportunities
• Develop insightful reporting to drive action by performing analysis and utilize quantitative and mathematical skills to provide "what if" scenarios and other financial modeling
• Support price capture and margin performance reviews by rep, by region, and by zone
• Lead pricing strategy discussions and pricing reviews with zone leadership
• Research market, industry, company trends which affect pricing considerations and make recommendations for change or action based on insights and findings.
• Coordinate across the pricing organization to maintain pricing integrity across channels for like products
• Provide field based tr aining on new pricing tools

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree, finance, accounting or an analytics based field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of applicable experience, preferably in a B2B pricing model
• Demonstrated customer focus in prior experience
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and present conclusions in a clear and concise manner
• Demonstrated experience as a change agent with strong analytical skills
• Stong proficiency with Excel and an ability to aggregate, manipulate and interpret disparate sources of data
• Experience with Cognos, Hyperion Essbase and SAP preferred
• Position will require travel (10-15%)
