About the Team

Our Centers and Entertainment team is looking for a Technical Business Analyst who is passionate about the customer experience and has analytical, strategic, and multi-task abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Tech Business Analyst is responsible for developing user stories, technical enablers, and product backlogs. You will own the lifecycle of primary product(s) and will be the expert in functional area and business process.

About the Job

Experienced Technical Business Analyst with an extensive background in delivering scalable and robust enterprise integration projects for Digital and Salesforce Enterprise Integration team. You will be a key contributor on the Scrum team delivering on mission-critical systems integrations and business processes.

Responsibilities and Day-to-Day View

•    Work independently to document user requirements and translate into user stories.

•    Plan and conduct stakeholder interviews to gather requirements and / or understand current business processes.

•    Develop and maintain product backlog(s) and coordinates with others on dependent stories.

•    Lead Agile ceremonies, driving the discussion for sprint planning and user story refinement.

•    Clarify requirements questions during technical design, architecture, development and sprint testing,

•    Work with Architect and development team to design overall solution

•    Lead the user story refinement ceremony by driving the discussion and providing clarification.

•    Act as a Product Owner on a "fill-in" basis for the Product Strategy Manager or the business.

•    Field questions from stakeholders / end users during user acceptance testing and perform triage; identify potential options to aid in the resolution process.

•    Consider cost effectiveness while conducting gap analyses to identify solutions that meet business requirements.

•    Work with business owners and technical architects to set a strategic product direction and scope out project efforts.

•    Collaborate with the development team to ensure designs meet customer requirements.

•    Write basic database queries to review application data to identify and triage discrepancies.

•    Identify and raise process inefficiencies as they relate to products.

•    Provide mentoring to less experienced employees in the immediate group and provide guidance and support to team members as needed.

•    Meet training requirements and follow established procedures and propose new procedures.

•    Comply with metrics to measure progress of group or department issues.

•    Provide reasonable estimates for work products.

•    Proactively improve standards and procedures as needed.

Qualifications

•    Relevant degree preferred.

•    5 or more years’ experience in a progressive business analyst role or related role is required.

•    Experience working in an Agile environment is required.

•    Deep experience interacting with the business to create and translate user stories and business requirements preferred.

•    Salesforce, Agile or Scrum Master certifications preferred.
