Our Product Finance team is looking for a strategic business partner who will jointly drive long term profitability and financial health of product portfolios via leading our FP&A organization. This team is designed to provide highly motivated, skilled, and naturally curious individuals an opportunity for career development at a growing company.

The Director, Product Finance will play a critical role in setting vision and drive cadence of our Financial Planning and Analysis activities for our fast-growing innovative Product organization.  The responsibility includes, but not limited to consolidation and ownership of budgeting/forecasting process, financial close support, rigorous monthly cadence management, quarterly guidance, strategy planning support, KPI management, financial modeling, roadmap alignment support, and executive presentation. 

This highly matrix-oriented role sits in our CFO organization and is an important liaison to not only within finance, but also with our Product organization, sales regions, marketing, operations, corporate development/strategy, and other functions.  The ideal candidate is a high energy, responsive and detail-oriented thought-leader who can step back, when needed. We are expecting an experienced leader with strong communication, analytical, operational and people management skills who is also able to balance two types of business speeds between nimble digital world and robust core businesses.

Responsibilities


  • Establish and develop cadence around a monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and KPI reporting

  • Partner with Accounting and Corporate FP&A to support our financial close cycle

  • Variance analysis including understanding not only “what”, but also “why” and “so what” to support driving profitable growth of our products

  • Develop product budget and forecast by partnering with Product leadership

  • Present key stakeholders and executive management to help facilitate decision making

  • Act as trusted advisor to cross functional business leaders, anticipates needs, makes recommendations based on knowledge of partner industry, and facilitates decision making

  • Deliver and craft high-quality presentations for senior executives and business partners

  • Lead the team to resolve complex technical, operational and organizational problems

  • Defining objectives, quarterly conversations, performance counseling, coaching and career development

  • Ad Hoc Analysis

Qualifications


  • 10+ years experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or related field preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field preferred

  • Master's degree (MBA) or CPA preferred

  • M&A experiences a plus

  • Able to effectively manage time and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to lead and work well independently and in groups in a highly metrics organization in person and remotely

  • Strong numerical, writing, analytical, and communication skills required

  • Experience working in a matrix organization, with ability to solve complex problems and maintain accountability geographically and functionally

  • Experience building and establishing constructive and cooperative working relationships and open lines of communication

  • Experience presenting and partnering with Executives, including the ability to push back and have difficult conversations

  • Service oriented attitude

In accordance with Colorado State Law (https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/sb19-085) the salary range for Colorado for this role is $135,000 - $185,000 per Year with 30% bonus target.
