Under the direction of a Medical Director, a Registered Nurse Project Manager, and an on-site Registered Nurse (RN), Advancia Aeronautics is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - Level 1 to be part of a mobile COVID-19 test unit team to support United States Naval operations. The mobile COVID-19 team will consist of the team lead (RN) and up to three CNAs. The mobile unit will consist of a van, supplies required to support either a walk-up or drive-up testing site, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and required sample collection supplies. Customers will self-administer an Emergency Use Authorized Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) nasal swab sample collection. The team will be responsible for, but not limited to, site setup and tear down, assist customers with electronic registration, provide sample collection supplies to customers for self-collection, observing and/or assisting customers with specimen collection and packaging and delivery for overnight shipment of samples to the company laboratory. The mobile COVID-19 test unit will operate on a military installation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The employee shall provide logistical, operational and medical support of a mobile test unit at Cherry Point, NC to provide mass asymptomatic test collection for the COVID-19 coronavirus (collecting up to 240 samples daily). Duties include, but not limited to:
Staff training on observing, specimen collecting, and protocols
Setup of collection point site
Assist with registration of test participants using automated methods and means
Observing, assisting customers, and assisting team members
Assemble test collection kits with company provided supplies to meet demands of daily operations
Collection of completed test samples from customers
Packaging of test samples for daily shipment
Drop off test samples to pre-identified carrier for overnight transportation to company laboratory
Supply/Inventory management of equipment, testing supplies and PPE
Redeploy mobile test unit in less than 60 minutes: The mobile test collection unit shall be capable of deploying to a secondary location within a 20 mile radius of the primary command location. Test collection unit redeployment shall complete in less than 60 minutes total time from tear-down at one location to set-up at another location, not counting travel time. The mobile test unit shall be capable of being repositioned once per day after initial setup (e.g., a morning location, and an afternoon location).

Job Requirements:
Must be a United States Citizen
Possess a current, unrestricted Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state the mobile testing unit is located in.
Possess and maintain current certification in either the American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers or American Heart Association Provider Course
Current with and have completed all continuing education requirements specified by professional licensure or certification.
Must have current drivers' license in good standing and reliable transportation.
Must be able to pass a government background check to allow for military installation access
Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands:
The employee will provide services Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (8.5-hour shift) including 30-minute meal break except on Federal holidays as defined by the Office of Personnel Management
Most of the work will be performed outdoors.
Must be able to drive a 15-passenger van (or vehicle similar in size).
Requires periodic walking and standing.
Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel and bend.
Work in the occupation involves making repetitive motions more than 1/3 of the time.
Must be able to lift approximately 10-15 pounds (books, equipment, medical supplies, etc.).
