Alight Solutions Is Looking For A Financial Analyst

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help drive results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Finance Leadership Program within Alight Solutions. This role falls under Alight's Early Career Development Program, known as Ignite.

The Finance Leadership Program (FLP) is a competitive and specialized leadership program designed to provide associates accelerated learning opportunities and career development over the course of the 36 month program. Associates will rotate between various finance divisions within Alight Solutions every nine months to build business acumen and technical skills and also participate in formal mentorship and training programs for continuous learning and development. FLP rotations are designed to both match the experiences and interests of each associate, and also to match current business needs. Skills development focus may include rotations in the following practice groups:


  • Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Business Financial Analysis

  • Corporate Functions Analysis

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will vary depending on the aligned rotation. Each rotation is designed to learn, develop, and achieve the following:


  • Understand the infrastructure and financial systems of Alight Solutions

  • Support team in month end close, forecast, and annual financial plan

  • Build on analyzing, trouble shooting, and problem solving skills in each rotation

  • Assist in ad-hoc analysis

  • Work with various teams across the businesses to gain insights to provide meaning contributions to the team

  • Interact with leadership teams across finance functions

  • Document and train colleagues within the FLP program

Preferred Experience:


  • Previous internship(s) experience preferred

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite tools (Excel, Word, PPT)

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting related discipline or equivalent experience required.

Applicants for this role, which is part of the Alight's Early Career Development Program - Ignite, must graduate between December 2020 - June 2021.

Expected Start Date: Summer 2021.
