About the Role:

The Director of Strategic Relationships (Employee Benefits) is responsible for the engagement, execution, and strategic planning for growth and profitability of our key brokerage and consultant relationships. This role is a thought leader and steward to our partnership community, providing education related to NortonLifeLock's Employee Benefit Channel while also serving as a liaison to our sales team to optimize opportunity with the partnership.

Responsibilities:


  • Deep understanding on how to be an ambassador to the employee benefits industry.

  • The ability to identify, pursue and qualify additional opportunities within new and existing relationships.

  • The ability to educate key stakeholders related to NortonLifeLock value propositions, services, and solutions offerings that are meaningful to their business.

  • Understand efficient enrollment paths, revenue requirements, and contractual relationships.

  • Take a consultative approach as it relates to RFP and RFI requests, ensuring a timely, accurate, and captivating response.

  • Perform regular business review's with strategic partners, focused on performance of existing business while also seeking opportunities for new business.

  • Experience utilizing systems (such as Salesforce) and processes that support the analysis of the partner's footprint, success measures, and use data to identity additional opportunities.

  • Stay informed of competitor offerings and industry trends that improve products and services.

  • Interface in a reciprocal manner with Business Development Executives, Specialists, Partner Account Managers, Legal and Finance to improve member growth and retention.

  • Deep understanding of the Account Plans and growth opportunities.

  • Partner with the Head of Employee Benefits to drive initiatives while also driving awareness of Partner performance and forecasting.

Key Qualifications:


  • Well experienced in Employee Benefit sales or service, with excellent knowledge of the Employee Benefit landscape.

  • Experience prospecting and growing new Partnerships, as well as, nurturing existing Partnerships.

  • Experience working with Employee Benefit Broker and Consultants, with a deep understanding their roles and needs.

  • Team player who will engage with internal resources and manage activity, pipeline, and be mindful of forecasting outcomes.

  • Have a fair technical knowledge of benefit enrollment methodologies and have a working understanding of various insurance products.

  • Proficient in analyzing benefit industry trends, specifically keeping a pulse on Identity Theft Protection.

  • Ability to work efficiently and influence key stakeholders.

  • High service acumen and a tireless approach to creative problem solving.

  • Strong communication skills with a quick ability to build a narrative to address the identity protection landscape.

Required Skills and Experience


  • At least 5 years' relationship management experience working with benefit brokers, agents, and consultants.

  • Exhibit a professional demeanor, business maturity, and confidence to present to C-level executives.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with different internal stakeholders to deliver on client needs.

  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce).

  • Ability to travel 40-60% of the time in a post COVID environment.
