The Project Manager III manages multiple medium-sized projects or one large project, working closely with other Project Managers and under the direct supervision of the PMO Director. Extensive knowledge in financial services perso and card manufacturing certification. This position ensures that all project requirements are clearly defined and approved, and that all deliverables are met within time, cost and quality constraints.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Ensures objectives and scope are clearly defined and approved for each project before commencement



  • Gathers required data from commercial representatives and technical advisors to define customer requirements and validate project objectives

  • Ensures contractual documents are in place to support the project

  • Coordinates and monitors multiple projects, or programs, from initiation through delivery


    • Produces and maintains a Project Plan that defines project specifications, timelines and budgetsSets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and expedites, monitors and tracks progress against planned activities

    • Negotiates and manages changes and initiates corrective action where necessary

    • Acts as the central point of contact for all interested parties and evaluates project effectiveness and efficiency


      • Communicates project status to the appropriate stakeholders and provides follow-up support to clients for all questions or concerns

      • Disseminates information on any problems or potential delays and resolves any internal issues that arise

      • Manages project risks, consulting the PMO Director and developing and implementing contingency plans when necessary to ensure a smooth execution of a project

      • Constantly implements and tests procedures, including PMO methodology, and recommends improvement


    • Brings all projects to a controlled close


      • Obtains user acceptance of the deliverables against the agreed triple constraint of time, cost and qualit



      • Ensures contractual and administrative closure of the project, reporting outcomes to the PMO DirectorCaptures lessons learned and observes opportunities for continuous improvement

      • Technical knowledge and experience as technical lead or application development



  • Ability to understand technical document and conduct reviews as needed on scope

  • Help align the team on the technical requirements

  • Able to draft functional documents based on business requirements

  • Oversee the testing and signoff on the User Acceptance (UAT)



  • Ability to manager projects related to card manufacturing


    • Knowledge in card manufacturing and certifications

    • Knowledge in different type of card manufacturing material such as RMF

    • Ability to work with product team on product certification


  • Plan, deploy, and lead all lean activities that will produce significant cost savings though productivity, quality, waste reduction improvements, and improved business processes

  • Manage improvement review process, implementation and transition control plans for perso center

  • Develops, document and implements processes using process diagram that drive improvement through the entire organization or large parts of the organization; simplifies complex processes; Creates discipline and ensures due diligence in decision making and drive for results

  • Measure work at the business unit level, and lead efforts to identify and close gaps in performance; Designs feedback loops into the work; Removes obstacle and provides resources

  • Provides timely and constructive feedback in all directions to help others learn and grow. Establishes and makes progress on plan to correct areas where criticism has been given. Encourages and supports the personal learning of others by providing feedback and coaching. Is an active mentor to others personal learning and development.

  • Has broad insight, rich perspective and mental flexibility; Thinks in strategic terms and is able to make connections across functional units; Anticipates future trends, issues and consequences accurately and uses understanding to deliver results

  • To provide technical design, solutions and project management primarily to Financial industry.

  • To work with the technical design, product development and deployment teams in France to implement the solutions and certification.

  • To conduct project acceptances with the customers for the completion of the implementation.

  • To deliver projects in time, within budget and meet customer expectations.

  • To contribute building a technical team for local pre and post project support.

  • To proactively work with customers and other partners to obtain first hand market knowledge and business opportunities.

  • To interact and work effectively across all functional areas such as, sales, business development, product marketing, R&D, manufacturing, etc. ... and at all levels of the organization.

  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned at any time and from time to time.

  • Maintain production activity reports and dashboard for the projects/accounts.

  • Experienced in pre-sales activity to help with key projects

Required Experience


EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE




  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Lean Six Sigma or a related field is required.

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in managing multiple medium-sized projects and/or programs of a value of $5M simultaneously.




  • Prior knowledge of structured project management methodology (PMBoK, PRINCE2, etc.) operations, technical and/or software development is required. Knowledge of the Financial Card Industry and technology industry is a plus.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Agile certification is required.

  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt highly preferred.
