Oversee training functions for fleet field operations including day to day responsibilities which will include: recruitment of delivery teams, verification functions (delivery and installation), troubleshoot damage claims as needed, route scheduling, client relations, staff management, monitoring client SOP metrics, company compliance and policy and procedure. This position will be pivotal for starting up locations and to help underperforming locations.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver a training program for Fleet Managers. This would include new market managers and existing market new hires. Implement and rollout the training program
Program should include:
Managing Independent Service Provider Delivery Contracts
Setting goals, developing action plans, and monitoring their execution
Review of daily routes and scheduling delivery teams
Focus on maximizing productivity with management, employee's and Independent Service Providers (ISP's)
Create a positive work atmosphere (contests, activities, incentives, team building (etc.)
Hold daily/weekly employee and ISP informational sessions
Ensure verification for new ISP's, field audits and damage claims are investigated (if a QCM is in the market you would oversee these duties)
Manage and coach delivery teams that are not achieving desired results
Manage expenses and budgets
Create a safe environment, complete first report of injury when applicable
Oversee building maintenance issues
Resolving customer and vendor escalated issues and concerns
Understand ISP settlements and finances
Traveling to locations as needed
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned
Ensure compliance of client SOP and company policy and procedure

Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; college degree in business or equivalent work experience preferred
Must have at least 3-5 years management experience in a related field
Experience working with a 3PL Company in a home delivery environment a plus
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office products; Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Must possess excellent verbal, written, communication skills, bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
Have the ability to travel as necessary
Working knowledge of company policies, practices and customer related matters as well home appliance knowledge is helpful

Experience with excel and basic accounting including credits and debits is required
Experience with AS400 operating systems is a plus
Transportation industry knowledge and experience is a plus
