Job Description Summary:

M-F, 8-5 General Cardiology Clinic
1:6 weekend hospital rotation
Experience as cardiology RN preferred

The Nurse Practitioner Specialty Care works in collaboration with the physician in either the inpatient or outpatient setting caring for acute and chronically ill and injured patients. Specialties include Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Geriatrics, Psychiatry, Palliative Care, Transplant, Pulmonary, Oncology, Orthopedics, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

No Degree or DiplomaAANP - American Association of Nurse Practitioners - American Association of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board, CPR - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - American Red Cross, NP - Certificate of Authority, Nurse Practitioner - American Association of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board

Must have a current RN license and maintain this license from the Ohio Board of Nursing Must have a current COA and maintain this license from the Ohio Board of Nursing Must have current Certification and maintain this Certification from a national certifying body (ANCC, AANP, etc. . . ) Must have graduated from an accredited CNP program (Nursing and graduate of an accredited post-Master's Nurse Practitioner Program). Must have CPR Certification endorsed by the American Heart Association. Three to five years clinical nursing practice in the acute care setting. Requires full prescriptive authority within two years of employment.
