This includes direct accountability for the safe, on-time, and on-budget construction and commissioning of new plants, and the safety, strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and operational performance of the growing portfolio of Air Liquide's Biogas upgrading plants in the Americas. Responsibilities will also include the management of personnel, company assets (eg., plants), resources, and HSES and will involve the training, coaching and motivation of employees while achieving company objectives.</span></p>\n<p><span>This role is responsible for ensuring that new plants are constructed to high standards of quality and performance, and in the expected timeline and budget, and shares financial responsibilities for the Biogas Americas OTF business with the Energy and Business Director BgSA. Specifically, the Sr. Director is responsible for the cost portion of the P&L and will ensure that capital and operating costs of the portfolio of plants are forecasted effectively, and managed to meet or exceed targets in production volume, uptime, capital expenditure, headcount, and a variety of other metrics.</span></p>\n<p><strong><em><br /></em>Duties and Responsibilities<em><br /></em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for the capital and operating costs of the Biogas OTF business in the Americas and both short term and long term results and strategy. Also responsible for the cost, budget, and quality performance of new plant construction and commissioning.</li>\n<li>Champion a leadership culture focused on safety in all functions of the organization</li>\n<li>Deliver improved business results by seeking new ways to apply technologies, investments and operating models that create increased efficiency, reduce cost, and maximize overall production of Renewable Natural Gas (RNG). Be a key leader of GYM inside ALATUS.</li>\n<li>Establish and track KPIs by plant and across the organization to ensure proper management insight and tracking of operational performance.</li>\n<li>Maintain ongoing dialogue and collaboration with the Energy and Business Director BgSA to ensure the free flow of information related to operational performance and forecasted new plant approvals. Build relationships in WorldWide Biogas to share/learn best operating practices, particularly with respect to digester operations.</li>\n<li>Build and maintain strong, multi-level relationships with our Biogas source customers (ie., landfill owners, farmers/developers for digester sites).</li>\n<li>Recruit and develop talent in a direct report team and within the entire organization. In particular, both the Operations and Project teams are expected to grow significantly over the next few years.
