Role Purpose:
Provides global leadership for the portfolio of Construction, Field Services & Project Management digital (tool) functional needs and systems specifications are fit for purpose and aligned with overall Project Delivery execution standards and strategies.
Key Accountabilities:
Coordinates with Construction and Project Management Function Directors to ensure business functional needs are known, documented, and addressed
Performs the role of Product Owner for Construction, Field Services & Project Management systems globally (incl. handling deviation process for non-standard tools)
Develop the vision for a portfolio in the relevant areas aligned with global business goals
Defining goals for the portfolio as a whole and for the particular products in respective areas
Drive Project Delivery excellence through accelerated/standardised systems deployment Oversees implementation of business functional needs for project delivery systems in the areas of:
Field Service Management
Construction Management
Completion Management/ Mechanical Completions
Fabrication Yards / Construction Sites
Commissioning & Start-up
Handover to Operations
Turnarounds & Shutdowns
Portfolio & Project Management
Interface Management
Supports business specific requirements related to transition, retirement, adoption / enhancement of Construction, Field Services & Project Management systems
Leads networks of Subject Matter Experts and Technical Experts to facilitate two-way communication between Business, PD and IT
Rationalization of portfolio
Make sure there are no unnecessary functionality overlaps and gaps
Make sure the right product is selected with the right price
Follow market developments and assess use in Worley
Follow competitors in the industry
Manages product suitability and initiate product evaluations
Determines roadmap for tools in collaboration with Enterprise Applications Architect and broader stakeholder groups across the business and coordinates with peers regarding integration and analytics needs.
Defines the requirements of Standard Tool Builds to ensure business functional needs have been met, value is realised, and benefits are validated and captured
Primary stakeholder for GPMO initiatives within their respective areas, relating to systems implementation, change management & communications
Updates business on current and future technologies within their respective area
Owner / Author of Management System processes and procedures related to PD Tools within respective areas
Provides bid and proposal support incl. quality control process and capture/ sharing of best practice
Creates awareness, manages and communicates Construction, Field Services & Project Management systems standards, capability and marketing materials
Establishes rapid methods to support accelerated Construction, Field Services & Project Management systems project start-up/initiation (incl. capture of value realisation)
Develop use cases with respective business case
Drives delivery of digital standards continuous improvement initiatives
Proactively provides feedback to IT commercial team on preferred effective and efficient licensing needs and strategies for respective area
Job Specific Knowledge / Experience:
Deep domain knowledge in the use of a suite of EPC/EPCM project delivery-specific applications in the energy, chemicals & resources sector
Hands-on practical experience as a project delivery lead specialist with one or more of the major tools on major projects or significant
Experience with facilitating workshops in a virtual environment
Sound understanding of business analysis techniques and methods to extract requirements, document processes and translate business needs into functional outputs
Demonstrated experience with working with technical solutions experts to translate functional requirements into robust fit-for-purpose technical solutions
Understanding of the importance of applications architecture as it relates to systems strategy and tools selection
Demonstrated understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) methodologies and enabling technologies
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience;
CBAP certification an advantage;
PMP or Prince2 and ITIL certification an advantage
Scrum/agile certification an advantage

Assume hands-on management and implementation of all relevant One-Way systems

Flexible Working Arrangements:
Some travel is required on an as needed basis but is limited. The majority of collaboration is achieved using Zoom, MS Teams, Yammer etc.
