Stag's Leap Wine Cellars, notably known for being the winery that won the Cabernet Sauvignon competition in the famous 1976 Judgment of Paris, was founded in 1970, and is considered a Napa Valley first-growth estate. In 2007 A partnership between Ste. Michelle Wine Estates and Marchesi Antinori accepted the stewardship of Stag's Leap Wine Cellars and its legacy.

We are currently seeking candidates for a full time Wine Club Representative to join our team at Stag's Leap Wine Cellars in Napa, CA. The ideal candidate enjoys both the challenge and rewards of providing exceptional service to our wine club, internet and phone customers, working on special projects, occasionally working club events at the winery and is available to work any day of the week.


What you will do:



  • Provide front line customer service to wine club members and other e-commerce direct sales customers for Stag's Leap Wine Cellars, Conn Creek Winery and Patz and Hall Winery.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.

  • Respond to in-bound phone calls/emails and generate outbound calls /e-mails related to sales offers, general customer inquiries, event reservations and direct shipment orders.

  • Variety of data entry responsibilities to support direct sales, wine clubs and E-commerce function.

  • In conjunction with the shipping department, research and resolve routine customer service inquiries or problems.

  • Partner with the Visitor Center to arrange and confirm wine club customer visits, tastings and tours to the estate as needed.

  • Process and log consumer complaints.

  • Work on special projects as requested by the Wine Club Manager.

  • Assist in contacting customers to resolve any wine order issues/inquiries.

  • Other duties as assigned.


What you will bring:



  • Outstanding customer service skills and a minimum of 2+ years in a customer service position.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work varying shifts/days of the week as needed, with at least one weekend day available.

  • Able to work in an office environment (sitting for extended periods of time).

  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds on occasion.

  • Proficiency with computer skills (intermediate level or above skills with MS Office).

  • Basic knowledge of wine industry.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.
