About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a flexible, adaptable and high-energy Senior Account Executive to join our Business Transformation team in Chicago. As part of our dynamic team, you'll contribute to the success of several major accounts across a variety of industries.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in public relations and/or news media (publishing/editorial or broadcast)


• Strong writing skills, ability to develop client-facing communications strategies or memos, press releases, op-eds, etc.


• Strong understanding of the earned media landscape-including what makes a story for different media verticals, and how their clients can break through


• Ability to effectively monitor the news landscape daily, develop proactive and reactive pitches, conduct planned and proactive outreach daily, develop relationships with key U.S. media, etc.


• Create content, including messaging, media pitches, event submissions and more to help tell client's stories


• Thoughtfully counsel clients based on the internal and external landscape and business goals


• A proactive self-starter with excellent organizational and project management skills, and the ability to adapt to change and meet deadlines


• An affinity for storytelling, and is able to generate creative ideas, take risks and think big


• Help supervise more junior staff by mentoring, motivating, coaching, and consistently providing feedback
