Arcosa Wind Towers is looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team on 2nd Shift. In this position you will perform basic quality control testing and inspection of standard parts, units, equipment or material to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements.
Location: Tulsa, OK
What you'll do:
May inspect incoming materials, or plates, outgoing materials, or fittings and welds throughout the manufacturing process
May apply singular inspection process, such as hydrostatic tests
May perform x-ray, destructive or nondestructive examination to verify specified dimension, strengths and other quality factors using measuring instruments and inspection equipment
Proficiently utilizes inspection tools and measuring equipment
Performs inspection of finished product - Follow all safety rules and practices
Perform other duties as assigned
What you'll need:
2+ years of experience in a heavy manufacturing setting
2 NDE inspection methods or ability to become certified
Weld Inspection Specialist or the ability to become qualified within 90 days
2+ years welding experience preferred
1+ years experience with ISO standards preferred
Ability to work as a team, demonstrate high ethical standards, treat all coworkers with dignity and respect and support a positive working culture
Working Conditions:
Hourly full-time position
Safety sensitive role
Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds which operate multiple shifts and frequent weekend shifts
This position frequently requires work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant.
