City Experiences is seeking a Social Media Manager: Audience Development & Analytics for our NY Office.

About the Opportunity:


The Social Media Manager: Audience Development & Analytics will support the social media strategy for Hornblower through content development, scheduling, customer service, social listening, community management etc. with a focus on audience development and data analytics.


About You:


This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences’ RESPECT Service System.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Work with social and creative teams to ideate meaningful and actionable content, coordinating with marketing team to ensure brand consistency

  • Implement and schedule social media content and campaigns to align with strategic marketing goals, focusing on growing our online audience

  • Monitor and report on online discussion and identify real-time opportunities for engagement

  • Respond and engage with customers both proactively and reactively across social platforms

  • Work with customer service and communications teams to escalate adverse events

  • Develop a deep understanding of our social media audience to help inform content creation and identify other digital opportunities

  • Provide weekly reporting on activity, growth and engagement

  • Additional job duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications:



  •  3 - 5 years of experience social media marketing

  •  Undergraduate degree in marketing or related field

  •  Strong background in analytics with the ability to report, analyze and make data-driven decisions

  •  General understanding of social listening tools and engagement opportunities

  •  Knowledge of and experience with all major social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, etc

  •  Experience launching new brand communities

  •  ( e.g. building new ways of working, making strategic recommendations, establishing tone of voice in a variety of capacities, etc.)

  •  In-depth knowledge and understanding of online community platforms and best practices, with a passion for staying current on communications, social and content marketing trends.

  •  Superior attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to deliver high quality work, multi-task and manage deadlines.

  •  Excellent verbal communication and written skills

  •  Proactive team player, able to work collaboratively and problem solve
