This is an Associate role located at 1111 Polaris Parkway in Columbus, OH. The OH based team consists of 6 Professional, Associate & VP level team members and serves as the primary contact point for 30+ portfolio managers & traders. This individual will be responsible for support of the end to end operating environment for Fixed Income, Attribution analysis and overall trade management.
The candidate will be expected to have experience with Fixed Income performance and attribution measurement, including attribution explains, rate of return analysis, and risk analytics:
Monitoring broad spectrum of fixed income performance measurement & attribution calculations and reporting across regional offices
Interpretation of results using JPM's fixed income performance attribution system and third party attribution systems
Determining sources of alpha and identifying the factors responsible for these results
The candidate will also be expected to possess excellent communication skills to partner with internal clients including Portfolio Managers, Traders, Investment Specialists, and senior management.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of FI securities/products and portfolio accounting are essential. Comprehension of complex Fixed Income instruments, structured products, and derivatives is fundamental to the role
Ability to mitigate risk through process automation and/or developing controls, views control as a means for improving processes, takes actions to prevent problems early in process
Experience with issue resolution and root cause analysis, including showing the ability to research and resolve issues in a timely manner
