Job Summary

The Digital Specialist is an expert communicator who can connect technology and people in order to accomplish business goals. The Digital Specialist will lead the development and execution of digital strategies within assigned group. They will assist in project management, website maintenance, content/creative development, and campaign monitoring and reporting as required.

Where applicable, they will be responsible for day-to-day management of the practices’ web presence social channels and email newsletters as well as tools deployed to the practices focused on improving patient experience. They will support internal communications efforts as well. They will work within the enterprise to stay connected to the larger digital strategy and work to stay abreast of developments within the digital space.  In addition, they will be expected to provide content support and expertise in targeted areas to support internal and external communications.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities


  • Work in collaboration with the care and marketing teams to develop and deploy digital marketing strategies.

  • Will manage a robust social media and reputation management strategy focused on improving online reputation scores and reviews. Ensure follow-up to digital customer contacts and track operational response.

  • Develop, manage and launch paid search and social campaigns. Provide consistent performance tracking and an iterative approach to drive for better results at lower costs.

  • Manage deployment, functionality and delivery of content through the web sites by building and managing content, information architecture and search engine optimization of the platforms.

  • Maintain integrity of website content on online/digital properties for multiple brands (including brand guidelines, copy, images, PDFs, multimedia, meta-information, "broken links", and usability.

  • Manage digital platforms in partnership with the enterprise digital team, aligning roadmap to the enterprise.

  • Maintain relationships with vendors for all products leveraging their expertise and skills while maximizing company benefits.

  • Track and analyze digital media performance providing results to the broader organization and delivering strategies to improve metrics.

  • Writing social and longer form content when needed in support of the content strategy.

  • Work collaboratively within the marketing team to build strong campaigns supported by all other parallel marketing efforts. Seek opportunities to leverage other initiatives within the organization to drive loyalty or volume.

  • Manage advertising/outreach campaigns that grow the business with clients, providers, and members (e.g. email, display, PPC, mobile, social) leveraging both in-house and external resources.

  • Measure and communicate marketing campaign results and provide recommendations to key stakeholders for continuous improvement.

  • Develop and share expertise within the organization as well as industry best practices across all relevant channels.

  • Other duties as needed or required.

 

Job Qualifications

Required:


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing and Sales, Business, Communication or other related field.

  • Minimum 3 years in marketing, digital marketing, and/or content creation role

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including visual, written and verbal

  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects, campaigns, and deadlines, in partnership with internal departments (e.g. Marketing, IT, Sales) and external vendors or clients

  • Driven marketer and team player who is constantly learning new skills and technologies, and can help educate and train other employees or third-party contractors

  • Demonstratable understanding of web page development and digital platforms (HTML, CSS, Javascript and software-as-service platforms)

  • Excellent grammar and editing skills

  • Organized, extremely attentive to details, and able to prioritize tasks appropriately.

  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, relying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems.

  • Ability to work under pressure and changing priorities.

  • Ability to lead, direct and manage the work of others.

  • Ability to motivate a team to produce quality work within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.

  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

  • Some overnight, out-of-state travel

  • Attends additional training as requested/deemed necessary

  • Desire and ability to learn and master tools including:

  • Fundamentals of HTML & CSS (email and web)

  • Fundamentals of digital graphic, video, and audio formats

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, others a plus)

  • Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Adwords, Search Console

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud (email, mobile, and multi-channel)

  • Salesforce Community Cloud (content updates)

  • Website content management systems such as Sitecore, HubSpot, Kentico and Wordpress

  • Social organic and advertising platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn

 

Preferred:


  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Knowledge of digital marketing platforms such as HubSpot, SiteCore, Sprinklr, CRM tools.

  • Experience with project management software and methodologies

 

Physical Demands


  • Incumbent must be able to communicate effectively.  

  • Requires overall light physical effort (up to 25lbs.)

  • Manual dexterity and sitting is required in carrying out position own position responsibilities (i.e. use of personal compute).

  • Ability to travel or move about within and outside serviced facilities required.             

  • Incumbent works primarily in either a private or shared office environment.
