What you'll do on a typical day:


  • Establish, promote and maintain a culture dedicated to exceptional customer service

  • Model and inspire professional response and resolution to all customer inquiries and concerns regarding orders and shipments

  • Engage with drivers and fill in for dispatch supervisors when needed; occasionally take driver calls after hours or on weekends to ensure customer needs are promptly addressed

  • Train and ensure proper utilization of the transportation management system, and maintain appropriate documentation

  • Maintain QMS databases and conduct employee training; update and maintain systems and databases

  • Gather and report KPIs on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis


What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:


  • 4 years of experience in customer service

  • 2 years of experience in a warehousing or distribution center environment

  • Knowledge of warehouse and transportation operations

  • Experience with Microsoft Office


It'd be great if you also have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Availability to travel up to 25% of the time to various sites in the area

  • 2 years of supervisory/managerial experience

  • Experience with EDI and TMW software

  • Knowledge of transportation operations and driver management

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations
