Our Senior Repair Agents perform high quality repairs on clients personal devices assessing unit symptoms and repairing/replacing defective parts as necessary. Additionally, they provide work direction and product repair training to a team of agents. Senior Repair gents also manage the teams workflow and productivity.
Key accountabilities:
Leads a team of repair agents, providing work direction and repair training
Manages the team workload
Researches and resolves escalated aging units and service order issues
Partners with Team Assistant and Repair Agents as needed
Ensures quality control
Consults with clients, providing recommendations and quotes for repair
Basic Qualifications:
6 months training individuals on diagnosing and repairing consumer electronics and / or appliances
9 months diagnosing and repairing consumer electronics and / or appliances
Able to stand/sit for long periods of time
Able to work in a fast pace environment
Able to work in a non-climate controlled environment
Able to carry/lift/push/pull weight up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodation
Preferred Qualifications:
Consumer Electronics and / or Appliance Manufacture Repair Certification
Sealed System Certification applicable to Appliances
6 months using Best Buy’s Star and Smart Parts system or Parts Inventory System
Ability to multitask and have an attention to detail
