CONSTRUCTION PRACTICE
Michael Baker International's Construction Services staff supports clients by acting as their trusted on-site agent through all phases of construction, from pre-design to close-out, by providing qualified construction managers, inspectors, constructability reviewers, schedulers, estimators and safety experts. As new technologies evolve throughout the construction industry, innovative ideas are required to maintain and deliver successful construction projects.
DESCRIPTION
The Office Engineer will work on high profile projects that will have a positive impact on the NYC metro area. Be part of projects for New York City and/or New York State clients including NYCDEP and NYCDDC

• The successful candidate will be responsible for management of progress meetings;
  
  
• Logging QA/QC of construction management data files, including logging and tracking project data;
  
  
• Contractor payments, assure contract specifications are met; assure that all required permits are current and active
  
  

• Possess a BS degree in Architecture/Engineering or Construction Management
  
  
• CMIT certified preferred but not required
  
  
• Have 7 years' experience with water and sewer mains, and water and/or wastewater treatment plant construction
  
  
• Certified OSHA 10-hour safety
  
  
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office Professional Suite and Primavera and/or Contract Manager
  
  
• CMIT preferred but not required
  
  
• Have a working knowledge of E-builder
