LPN duties include patient care to support the efficient and effective operations of our fast-pace orthopedic practice. Position responsible to prepare patients for the provider, perform clinical duties such as application and removal of casts, splints, braces; removal of sutures, wound care. The position will support the physician with both clinical and administrative duties. Flexible schedule available to include nights and Saturdays.
Work closely with clinical leadership to ensure smooth patient flow in the operational areas
Perform clinical duties in all areas including Express, Cast Room, and pods
Perform clinical duties such as the application and removal of casts, sutures, staples, braces
Perform wound care and deliver patient education
Answer triages, as needed or directed
Room patients, take vitals and history, update electronic medical chart as needed
Update and maintain patient medical records, including visit details, insurance and contact information
Service patient after visit with appropriate paperwork, schedule follow-up appointment, send out medical records as requested, and answer any patient inquiries
Maintain exam rooms to appropriate regulatory standards
Work as a team to replenish exam room and clinical supplies, including office supplies for designated area
