The Maintenance Supervisor- is an integral to the overall development and success of their workplaces. Manage & Lead the maintenance staff. This Includes the Technical Support Functions (e.g. Maintenance, Special Projects, etc.). This also includes but not limited to Current Production, Product Launch, Process Launch, and PM Strategy.

1. PLC and HMI maintenance & trouble shooting (including Ladder logic)

2. Perform & diagnose hydraulic leaks and PMs

3. Advanced electrical and blueprint schematic reading

4. Integrated circuit troubleshooting

5. Wire control circuits for 5, 12, 24, ad 120 volts

6. Advanced pneumatic circuit design

7. Advanced Welding skills

8. Capable of sizing motor starters and overloads for an application

9. General knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, ad hydraulic blue-print schematic reading

10. Ability to maintain machine functionality

11. Ability to troubleshoot basic control circuits

12. Basic shop tools (hand tools, drills, lathes, and milling machine)

13. Welding skills- MIG, TIG, and Stick/Braze

14. Hydraulics theory & functionality

15. OHM’s Law

16. Electronic’s theory

17. Bridge & Rail Cranes

18. Drilling/tapping

19. Timer’s & Counter theory

20. Encoders/decoders theory

21. Circuit design & layout

22. Cutting & threading pipe

23. Basic pneumatic troubleshooting & repair

24. Building maintenance- plat lighting, compressors and emergency lighting

25. Bending conduit and pulling wire

26. Installation & set-up of motor contractors and VFDS

27. Ensure that all accidents including first aid cases are reported.

28. All employees are to follow the safety guidelines established by this facility. Noncompliance to the safety policy will result in disciplinary action and/or termination.

29. Enforce safety rules daily. Noncompliance of safety rules requires support with HR on disciplinary action and/or termination.

30. Actively intervene to correct recognized unsafe actions and conditions.

31. Conduct daily observations of PPE use and safe work practices adherence and coach employees as needed.

32. Ensure that all accidents including first aid are reported.

33. Build credibility through continuous demonstration of safety as a value through their personal actions.

34. Ability to complete employee development plans, organize, communicate, and motivate employees. Must be able to prioritize own work -day schedule

35. Schedules, coordinates and directs all necessary maintenance and construction work. Makes preliminary, intermediate and final inspection of maintenance and construction work to insure proper workmanship, materials and conformance to work methods and safety regulations

36. A technical manager meets with his senior management regularly and gives them his monthly budgets and project status. He may also meet with his counterparts, technical partners and customers

37. He conducts regular meetings with his teams, whether as a whole or through one-on-one discussions. They provide each team member an objective or goal that they will monitor progress or status on throughout the year. They then conduct performance reviews of team members and gives them feedback, as well as makes promotion recommendations or salary increases if and when applicable. The technical manager also posts job openings, conducts interviews and hires and fires employees

Education Requirements: 


  • Vocational or Technical degree preferred

Other Requirements: 


  • Minimum of 4 years industrial maintenance experience

  • Forklift experience

  • Overhead crane experience

  • TS 16949 awareness

  • ISO 14001 orientation / awareness training

  • Ability to sit or stand for 4-6 hours before a break

  • Ability to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds

  • Good communication (both written and oral) and listening skills.

  • Mold design/blue print reading.

  • Team oriented.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Internal Customer service oriented.

  • Capable of excelling in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Possess a passion for excellence.

  • Must be capable of using a variety of machine-shop tools.

  • Excellent math-skills needed.
