Group Insurance has an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Process Management to join the Service Inquiry and Resolution Team. The Service Inquiry and Resolution team is responsible for the execution of key initiatives focused on enhancing the Group Insurance service model and underlying administrative practices. The team proactively works to mitigate risk within Group Insurance in support of Prudential’s mission of providing financial wellness solutions for our customers.

The Manager, Process Management will be the responsible business owner who leads, coordinates, and implements multiple key strategic projects and initiatives across Operations, Business Partners, and Systems, to solve complex business issues. This leader is a skilled collaborator who creates strong relationships with key partners in other departments (e.g. product, operations, distribution, law, compliance, risk management etc.). The successful candidate will work both independently and with a team, providing direction and business support.  May have supervisory duties of instructing, assigning, directing, and checking the work of the other Service Inquiry and Resolution team members.

Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:


  • Accountable for the execution of initiatives to address complex business issues requiring corrective actions and focused on strengthening process excellence and customer experience.

  • Oversees the development of roadmaps required to execute project initiatives including identifying project scope, resource needs, business partner involvement, key action steps, and timeframes

  • Facilitates engagement with stakeholders, workstream leads, subject matter experts and project management team members ensuring strategic alignment, clear understanding of project goals and focus on delivering meaningful outcomes.


  • Identify and analyze business opportunity and operational impact through review of processes and data.

  • Leverage data, facts, and logic to generate solutions and recommendations to address business issues. Gain organizational alignment on final decisions from key stakeholder(s).


  • Represent the Operation at key business partner meetings and present information in various leadership forums

  • May include management responsibility of strategic initiatives project or team members.

Qualifications:


  • 5 years’ business experience, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry with at least 3 years’ experience leading and executing process excellence and issue resolution initiatives; Group Insurance experience a plus

  • Experience interacting effectively with a wide variety of both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong ability to gain alignment on key decisions across multiple business stakeholders

  • Proven results oriented with ability to work cross functionally to achieve goals

  • Proven track record of managing complex, highly technical projects across functions and business lines.

  •  Ability to balance structure and flexibility, with a drive toward results and accountability.

  •  Well-developed leadership, management and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to excite and lead others in a highly collaborative environment.

  •  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

*Note: Prudential is required by Colorado law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Colorado resident.

Salary range specific to Colorado: $102,900-139,200 + discretionary incentive bonus + benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
