Responsible for the identification and receipt of incoming stockroom raw material, bulk items and consumable supplies. Store and issue materials form the stockroom in accordance with established ISO procedures. Maintains an understanding of ISO quality of system and preforms all work in accordance to ISO processes and procedures. Receives, stores and issues hand tools, machine tools, material and safety equipment in industrial setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Associates to perform all safety checks at the start of their shift this includes by not limited to all cranes and tools and complete the necessary documentation. Continue to perform safety checks throughout the shift.
Store and issue stockroom materials, supplies and equipment. Letting appropriate individuals know of any shortages or discrepancies. – Controls inventory of all items through records and logs.
Unpacks and stores incoming tools and equipment and replenishes the crib.
Inspects and measures tools and equipment for defects and wear and reports damage or wear to purchasing agent.
Take various inventories on a timely basis and supply this information to appropriate buyer.
Preform cycle counts on a weekly basis and report any discrepancies or shortages to purchasing agent.
Act as back up to Storekeeper and Receiver when necessary.
Assist in the cleaning and organization of the stockroom.
Maintain a controlled environment and admittance of the Tool Crib. Knowledge of measuring and manufacturing terminology.

EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of on-line computer systems and PC based computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite)
Ability to identify and issue parts from a part pick list and locate lost or misplaced tools and equipment.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to understand and abide by all safety rules and regulations to perform the job.
Must have a basic understanding of computers.
One year related experience in stockroom, inventory management, or receiving and inspections.
Must have reading, writing and simple math skills.
Must have either a High School diploma, GED, or at least 1 year working experience in an industrial based environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
