Job Description:

Boasso Global, a premier intermodal service company providing transportation and tank container services, is seeking a skilled Tank Mechanic to support operations at our Channelview Tx facility.

The essential functions of the job include repairing and maintaining tank containers using hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, and precision measuring and testing instruments, observing and listening to mechanical devices to diagnose causes of mechanical issues, repairing and replacing defective parts, inspecting and adjusting used parts, and lubricating and cleaning parts, operating lathe, drill press, grinders, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts, and other duties as assigned.

Preferred candidates will have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, possess a mechanical background, be able to wear a respirator, be comfortable with both heights on top of tanks and enclosed spaces inside of tanks, and have worked in an industrial setting.
