As such, the decision dynamics are evolving: patients have a stronger voice in therapy choice, care is transitioning away from specialists, the role of artificial intelligence is elevating care, and the rise of the Pharmacy channel is disrupting our traditional strength in Durable Medical Equipment (DME).

We are seeking a dynamic, competitive and clinically savvy professional to join the Commercial Enablement team. The Senior US Commercial Enablement Specialist, Customer & Key Account Programs will be responsible for the implementation of commercial program strategies for Medtronic Diabetes. In this role you will partner with Global Downstream Marketing, US Marketing Analytics & Insights, and US Sales teams to design and implement customer and key account programs to ensure commercial effectiveness of Medtronic Diabetes products.

The Commercial Enablement organization supports the success of the US Sales organization through the execution of its commercial strategy. The Senior US Commercial Enablement Specialist, Customer & Key Account Programs will be responsible for planning and executing creative program campaigns by partnering closely with Product Field Consultants, US Marketing Analytics & Insights Analysts, and the US Sales Managers.

You will drive program development and execution customer and key account programs, working with field District Manager to implement and drive execution and report directly to the Director of Commercial Enablement.

This role is open to remote, within the continental United States. The Diabetes business in headquartered in Northridge, CA.

A Day in the Life


  • Develop and implement customer and key account programs (e.g., HCP/CDE, Top 200) including segmentation, strategy, tactics, collateral development, and execution coordination
  • Monitor and measure the impact of programs that are launched by working with US Market Analytics & Insights to improve product adoption, satisfaction, and retention
  • Refine programs using data analysis to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of program launches
  • Combine program implementation activities with product launch or marketing campaigns by collaborating with Commercial Enablement Field Consultants
  • Contribute to call plan strategies and content and partners with Sales Operations to execute
  • Travel up to 20%

Must Have: Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelors degree required
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in marketing, strategy, commercialization or sales, or Masters' degree with at least 2 years.

Nice to Have


  • MBA
  • Experience in Medical Device/Biotech/Pharma industries
  • Experience in the sales/commercial diabetes market
  • Experience developing customer segmentations
  • Knowledge of upstream and downstream marketing and sales leading practices for optimal coordination
  • Exhibits strong communication, interpersonal skills, time management and team building skills
  • Previous product launch and downstream marketing experience
  • Ability to partner with and influence stakeholders across the matrix
  • Experience building rapport with sales reps and sales leadership
  • Experience interacting with and building relationships with KOLs and Key Customers
  • Able to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities
