We are looking for talented Principal System Engineer passionate about building large scale Data Solutions to help manage the ever-growing information needs for our clients at AT&T. The Principal System Engineer would support the engineering and development team responsible for the implementation of and on-going support of the integration layer for the new ATT Business Salesforce platform . Responsible for the technical architecture, data integration and middleware of the platform. Handle the delivery of integration capabilities and automation, including software deployments. Passion for understanding business problems and trying to address them by leveraging data - characterized by high-volume, high dimensionality from multiple sources. Candidate should have the ability to communicate complex models and analysis in a clear and precise manner including Data Management for the new ATT Business Salesforce platform. This role would work closely with the Systems Integrator (Salesforce), PMO (Deloitte) and IBM to manage all data integrations to/from the Salesforce platform. The right individual would need to have a development background and be responsible for the right sizing, implementation of, and management of the data integrations, including performance. In-depth Knowledge of Mulesoft required. Knowledge of AZURE and ADF would be a huge plus.

Responsible for translating the core architecture for business requirements into the final technical solution (consisting of platform, network, software, cloud, etc.) through functional, performance, and reliability analysis using engineering models and techniques, primarily through software development throughout the vertical stack. Defines designs; Provides technical enablement for application components and subsystems for an Application(s). Drives important design decisions for development team.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Elaborate the design and interfaces for specific components including: Define subsystems and their interfaces, allocate responsibilities to subsystems, understand solution deployment, and communicate requirements for interactions with solution context
Align development teams to a shared technical direction and partners with those teams in elaborating the Solution and its interfaces
Establish critical NFRs at the solution level, participate in the definition of others
Create and enable the Continuous Delivery Pipeline including: Participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the system solution and explore alternatives
Develop the Architectural Runway in support of new business Features and Capabilities
Work with portfolio stakeholders, Solution and Enterprise Architects, to develop, analyze, split, and realize the implementation of enablers
Participate in project planning, system and solution demos, retrospective workshops
Understand technical characteristics of and assist with architectural integration of external components, systems, and platforms
Expert level experience with SOAP and REST web service RAML Swagger open API development and SOA APIs ensuring Mulesoft best practices.
Experience in architectural concepts for MuleSoft implementations including encryption, security, logging, throttling, scalability and clustering.
Designing, prototyping, and delivering APIs, integration and applications in varied deployment models (cloud-based, on-premise or hybrid), to respond to client needs for cost-efficiency, competitive offering, and agility to respond to new business opportunities
Provide architecture, analysis, build, and testing for MuleSoft integrations.
Provide technical delivery for MuleSoft and API Management integration projects.
Understand and validate integration requirements.
Develop APIs on Mule Soft platform
Education: Preferred Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math;
Experience: 8-10 years’ experience.
Required Qualifications -
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or related field
8-10 years related technical architect experience
Proficient in engineering cost estimates and economic analyses and models
Knowledge of wireless technologies standards and protocols (3GPP, Wi-Fi, WiMax, antennas, amplifiers, base stations, propagation, interference, spectrum)
Proficient in voice, video, and app technologies/protocols (circuit, VoIP, SIP, IMS, AIN, Camel, etc.)
Proficient in network and system architecture (subsystems, interfaces, hw/sw dependencies).
Proficient in message and conference systems and networks (multiple media, notification, presence, unified communications, video).
Knowledge in Network Management, Tools and Protocols (Configuration, IP network Address Management, Perf, Mgmt).
