The Master Data Solutions Manager ensures that information within the HR data domain is governed across systems and lines of business by creating an environment where data integrity (valid and complete data) can flourish. Identifies problems and design solutions with existing computer systems and networks relating specifically to data management and/or security.
Specific Responsibilities
Communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the team; explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision and values; motivate people to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve business goals.
Communicates/evangelizes the importance of HR master data and strategic importance to the overall HR digital strategy.
Lead HR master data management to ensure and manage data quality and completeness across the enterprise by being responsible for developing key elements of the system.
Ensure all agreed standards and protocols are followed and data integrity is preserved through monitoring and evaluating data quality in HR systems.
Identifies gaps in data management; identifies, evaluates, and recommends solutions. Elicit complex business requirements using a variety of methods such as interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis to express the requirements in terms of target user roles and goals.
Establishes and manages data philosophy (data entered at source, single system of record). Monitor and review performance and behaviors within area of responsibility to identify and resolve non-compliance with the organization's policies and regulatory codes and codes of conduct.
Manages key aspects of the data management system. This includes being responsible for data definition standards; approves data glossaries and other data definitions.
Recommends master data management approaches, outcomes, and activities. Document "as is" and "to be" processes and describe changes required to migrate to the "to be" capability to record accurately changes requested.
Provides the data governance committee with input on software solutions, policies, or regulatory requirements of the HR data domain.
Informs IT project roadmap to establish data maintenance projects.
Skills/Requirements
Bachelor's degree required.
Six or more years' experience with comprehensive job-related experience in area of expertise (SAP / HRIS).
One or more years' experience in supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.
