The Firmwide Business Resiliency ("FBR") team is within the Office of the CFO and is responsible for the design of the firm's Resiliency Program, including the requirements for Resiliency Planning, Testing, Reporting and Issue Management. When disruptions occur, these practices support the continued operation of the firm's businesses, the markets, and our ability to service of our customers' needs. The FBR group collaborates closely with the firm's senior leadership, the LOB / Functional Resiliency teams, Risk Management and Audit to ensure that the resiliency program is commensurate with the risk taking activities of the firm. The team is also responsible for providing corporate governance, awareness and training. The team also ensures that the firm remains in compliance with global laws and regulations as they relate to resiliency risk.
FBR is seeking an Executive Director to lead our Reporting Data & Risk Analytics team. Reporting to the Firmwide Business Resiliency Reporting, Data and Technology Lead this role will be focused on a number of strategic efforts to enhance resiliency reporting and analytics across the firm. FBR is focused on a large strategic book of work and this role is key to its overall success with responsibility for collecting, analyzing and reporting on resiliency related data to facilitate monitoring and management of the Firm's resiliency environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Ownership of reporting focused on providing value added data analytics around the state of the firm's resiliency and its impact on risk to the firm
Build the strategic roadmap for all resiliency reporting and visualization including rationalization of current reporting, gathering and prioritizing resiliency reporting requirements ensuring alignment to regulatory requirements, including the FFIEC handbook and other regulatory specific requirements
Provide requirements for automation of reporting and integration into the Firm's strategic resiliency system
Use analytics to continuously evaluate risks impacting scenarios used for planning and testing
Work with the Control Management team to structure the business disruption risk and control framework for resiliency across the firm, utilizing risk and control assessment for analysis and reporting
Leverage data science techniques to analyze, integrate, and tell the resiliency story across structured and unstructured data
Develop and oversee Machine Learning and AI to assist with automation for planning, testing, crisis management and the Scenario / Simulation analysis for resiliency reporting
Manage BAU reporting and analytics including adhoc reporting and change management
Manage the resiliency reporting team of XX employees focused on growing the subject matter expertise
Partner with resiliency teams across the firm
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required, advanced degree a plus
Minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience in analytics, data science, reporting
Minimum of 5 years' experience managing teams
Demonstrated experience establishing and meeting goals, tracking and driving enhancement opportunities, and developing and presenting progress
Strong organizational, project management, and multi-tasking skills with demonstrated ability to manage expectations and deliver results
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, effective under pressure, and willing to take personal responsibility/accountability
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong ability to build relationships, which includes fostering a collaborative, positive work environment with stakeholders and peers
Strong skills in communication, presentation and ability to moderate large meetings
Ability to navigate a matrix organization
Leadership and influencing skills coupled with ability to be a team player.
Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
Knowledge of CORE (Control and Operational Risk Evaluation) system and CORE data relationships preferred.
Experience with Business Intelligence and visualization tools such as Alteryx, Tableau and QlikView is a plus
Experience with Resiliency / Crisis Management / Risk Management a plus
