Revenue Cycle Analyst at DotHouse Health

Job Description:

Reporting to the Director of Revenue Cycle, the Revenue Cycle Analyst performs a wide variety of tasks in support of DotHouse’s reimbursement efforts. The Analyst will assist in developing, preparing, analyzing and presenting financial and statistical reports. The Analyst will review billing practices to ensure accurate claim submission and claim compliance. The Analyst will possess strong Microsoft Office (especially Excel) skills, revenue cycle management knowledge, written and verbal communication skills, an analytical and strategic thinker who wants to work in a diverse community health center environment is essential.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Assist with the developing and preparing Key Revenue Cycle Management Reports.

  • Collaborate with the Director of Revenue Cycle to identify areas of improvement within the revenue cycle to maximize revenue while complying with payer and regulatory guidelines.

  • Conduct detailed analyses of data and information relating to existing or proposed revenue cycle projects.

  • Summarize analytic and research findings into graphs, charts, written summaries, and presentations for review by leadership and explain/interpret results upon request.

  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of the revenue cycle.

  • Assist with the development, monitoring, and ongoing evaluation of key revenue cycle initiatives.

  • Assist in collecting, analyzing presenting data for various DotHouse Stakeholders (such as the Billing Vendor, the Patient Access Managers, Team Up for Children, and other grant programs) as needed.

  • Other tasks as assigned.

Education: BA in Business, Finance or Accounting is desired.

Experience:


  • 3- 5 in Medical billing (Medicaid, Medicare, HSN, 3rd party payers)

  • Experienced in EPIC including report building.

  • Independent problem solving, self-motivating, and collaborating effectively throughout the organization.

Software/Hardware: Must be proficient and have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.). Strong Excel analyzing skills (Pivot, Charts, Lookups, Index +Match, Dashboards, Formulas, Macros etc.) Some SQL and Business Objects knowledge preferred.
