This team serves the chemical and pharmaceutical industries with a diverse range of services, from chemical testing and consultancy to inspection, contract laboratory services, regulatory guidance and supply chain assurance

DUTIES:


  • Process and manage maintain and grow account quotes in an efficient and effective manner
  • Work with laboratory scientists to create professional quotes and to host customer calls
  • Provide prompt and accurate responses to quotation requests, leads and inquiries
  • Follow up on quotes and close business
  • Enter sales activities into CRM platform
  • Create and execute account plans for grow accounts
  • Achieve revenue targets
  • Follow up on account problems such as PO's
  • Work closely with customers and operations to facilitate a superior customer experience
  • Manage maintain accounts and identify accounts with potential to expand to grow accounts
  • Provide support to outside sales team by transitioning grow accounts
  • Perform other work as required

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:


  • achelors of Science degree in a technical field (engineering, chemistry or biological/physical sciences) or an Associates of Science degree in a technical field (engineering, chemistry or biological/physical sciences) and 2 years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales or a High School diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales
  • Consultative selling experience is preferred
  • Sales experience in a technical field (medical, engineering, chemistry, science) is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written format
  • Excellent prioritization, organization and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Must be customer focused and quality driven
  • Experience with CRM tools (MS Dynamics / Sales Force / other) is a plus
  • MS Office proficiency, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities
