Friendship Senior Options is currently hiring for a part-time Health Information Associate at its Friendship Village of Schaumburg location.  Part-time weekend shift, 13 hours a week, Saturday and Sunday with opportunities to pick up shifts. Responsible for providing customer service to staff, residents, and visiting families. Prepares the new admission charts, schedules physician appointments, arranges transportation, room changes, and performs discharge chart analysis by identifying deficiencies. This role supports all the clerical duties at the nurses’ stations. Must be flexible, have a positive attitude, and work effectively with others.  Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, proficient in Microsoft Office, fluent in English (speech and writing) and legible penmanship. Previous EMR experience preferred.
